A while back I wrote The pingerator – a tool used to ping the Pingerati service that is offered by Technorati to let them know you’re using microformats and that the content on the passed URL should be (re)indexed.

The pingerator offers these features:
– ping more than one URL in one go
– save URLs for further use (Cookie based)
– check progress via a visible iframe

The downside is that it isn’t a serverside app but rather a browser based – this means you actually have to come to the page, click ping and wait for it to finish. The upside is that you don’t have to do it ten times to ping 10 URLs, obviously. And that if you do that often you only need two clicks every next ping.

Now go and test it.
